Cosmetics – ohhh yesss!

I love high quality cosmetics! I enjoy searching and discovering new brands, in order to test them.

I really love Japanese and Korean skin care and beauty products, especially their unique cosmetics. I am very lucky, because through my work I get to meet many top make-up artists from Asia (especially Japanese) and I always ask them to introduce me to their favorite new local brands.

I love cosmetics and I have to admit that I buy way too much, mostly when I come back from Tokyo, my suitcase is packed with so much cosmetics that I always have a hard time closing them.

I would like to introduce you to a few cosmetics that I think are really worth trying. I discovered them while modeling in Japan, during fashion week in Paris, and while living in New York or Poland.

Cle De Peau Correcteur Visage Concealer

I discovered this concealer during my modeling work in Tokyo. I came across this product very often during my various photo sessions. Japanese makeup artists used it instead of fluid, because for them the most important thing is the natural and slightly emphasized look. I liked the corrector so much that I decided to buy it before my departure. I like the creamy texture, which is very light on the skin and does not clog pores. I use it almost every day as a concealer to cover under eye shadows. I really like the fact that it gives the effect of practically “invisible makeup”. Cle De Peau Correcteur Visage Concealer comes from an exclusive line produced by Shiseido and I can definitely say that this is my favorite concealer. Also I love that this cosmetic has a very nice look and small packaging that fits literally anywhere!

LUNASOL LEATHER BEIGE

Ideal! Simply the perfect lipstick! I love the subdued color, which is very natural but also emphasizes the lips gently. Its great because it does not dry your lips. It has a wonderful, pleasant consistency, which also moisturizes, and at the same time is very durable! I was very lucky to be one of the first people to be able to test it on my lips. During my work for VOGUE JAPAN magazine we took beauty photos with all LUNASOL make-up products. That’s when I really fell in love with this lipstick shade! I been looking for so long for the right color to match the color of my lips and LUNASOL was it.

After the session, one of my favorite Japanese make-up artists, Rika Matsui together with LUNASOL, prepared a surprise for me. I received all the pre-release cosmetics that were used during the photo session. From January this year all these cosmetics are now available to everyone!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

This magic oil was recommended to me by one of my favorite make-up artists and friend – Daria Day.  When I found out that it contains 99.8% ingredients of natural origin and is free of parabens, I decided to buy it right away and now it has become one of my favorite cosmetics.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate was established in 2010 and has become the favorite product of Kiehl’s customers. It is a mixture of oils, essential oils and other substances and extracts with a moisturizing effect. The night care concentrate uses lavender essential oil with a calming effect, as well as regulating the production of sebum, squalane, evening primrose oil and vitamin E. This concentrate was developed to intensify the process of cell renewal, which occurs most intensively between midnight and 4 in the morning, which is to renew and nourish our complexion when we sleep sweetly.

In short, this product has become my “must-have” cosmetic. I put it on at night after a busy day of work, because it reduces signs of fatigue. Another plus is the lavender’s subtle fragrance that I personally love. I must admit it’s the perfect choice for the evening.

DR IRENA ERIS JEWEL EYESHADOW 0119 BLACK DIAMOND

It is an eye shadow with a creamy – powder consistency. I really liked it, because it is very pigmented. Making the “Smoky Eye” effect takes literally minutes, which is the biggest plus for me because I usually have little time to do makeup. I use it mainly in the evening for events, movie premieres in NYC, or out to dinners.

DIOR NAIL GLOW  

Which one of us does not dream of a nail polish showing the natural beauty of the nails and strengthening their shine without introducing color?

I received this unique nail polish as a gift during the Dior show in Paris. At first, I must admit that I totally forgot that I had it! I travel often, so I can’t take all my cosmetics with me and I whatever I can’t take I simply ship to my home in Poland. When I returned to my family home in Poland for a visit, I was happily reminded that I sent it home. It was perfect timing because at the time my nails were not in perfect condition. The constant change in nail polish from many photo sessions weakened them. When I applied Dior Nail Glow for the first time, I noticed that the nails became slightly pink, beautifully shiny, healthy looking and above all well-groomed. This product has an excellent brush that covers the entire nail in one stroke. I was really shocked that only one brush movement is enough to achieve an effect similar to a “french manicure”!

In my opinion, the product is perfect for those situations where we can not do our nails with a color polish and we still like them to look perfect.
